Gerald Jarmon was born and raised in New Bern, NC and he attended college at the University of Richmond on a basketball scholarship.  While at the University, he was a four-year starter and had several stand-out accomplishments.  In 1994, he graduated with a degree in Speech Communications and a minor in Sports Science. 
For several years after graduation, he toured several countries\continents such as South America, France, Russia, Canada as well as Australia playing semi-pro and competing against some of the pro teams in those respective countries (and continents).  These trips also gave him the opportunity to be a part of a missions team that sought to improve the welfare of many of the residents who were less fortunate than we are.
A few facts about the president:

• Coached at the collegiate as well as high school level.
• Motivational speaker for  audiences in the U.S. and abroad
• Played with the Harrisburg Horizon leading team to championship game
• Currently considered the top Professional Trainer with Advanced Training, Inc.
• Currently a High School Teacher in the Harrisburg School District
• Has trained and mentored hundreds of students/players over the past decade
• Married for 11 years and with 2 children
• Has served in After-School Programs with Center for Champions
• Served as a Houseparent at Milton Hershey School
